A look into Deepika Padukone’s luxurious home decor collection: Items at ‘Pottery Barn’ range from Rs 3,000 to a whopping 4 lk!

When she is not setting the box-office on fire, or making a fashion statement at events, superstar Deepika Padukone is busy curating spectacular home decor items. The ‘Piku’ actress recently launched a luxury home decor collection. Named ‘Pottery Barn’, this one-of-a-kind collection boasts of breathtakingly beautiful decor items such as hand-woven rugs, fluffy, intricately embroidered pillows, stately wooden furniture, gorgeous chandeliers, dinnerware, scented candles, etc.

In a candid interview with Architectural Digest, the ‘Pathaan’ star explained what set ‘Pottery Barn’ apart from other home decor/lifestyle collections. “This is not one of those collaborations where the brand sends you ten things and says, ‘Okay, you just approve it, we’ll put your name on it, and we’ll sell it.’ This has truly been a collaboration, and I’ve worked on every piece.” This assurance of personal involvement can inevitably be seen in the collection, as each and every piece although undeniably magnificent, exudes a distinct, timeless appeal.

The collection also reflects Padukone’s fondness for muted colours and timeless, vintage aesthetics. The collection will cater to clients from India, the Middle East, and the Philippines.
Padukone was brought in as the global ambassador of ‘Pottery Barn’ after it was floated by Reliance Brands in 2022. “I think we have a similar aesthetic and sensibility. It wasn’t easy, because they’re headquartered in California, and I’m based in India; there’s been a lot of back and forth, and it’s taken us a couple of years to put this together, but I think they have an amazing team..” she told AD.

The prices are predictably, extravagant. A candle set will cost you Rs 3,000, while a delicate Persian rug is priced at a whopping Rs 3,95,000! Aside from furniture and home decor, Pottery Barn also offers a wide range of luxury products such as bath essentials, bedding, and mirrors.
The ‘Pottery Barn’ collection will be available on potterybarn.com.
On the work front, Padukone was last seen in the aerial drama ‘Fighter’. She will next be seen in the Prabhas-starrer ‘Kalki 2898’.
