Luxury fashion brand Balenciaga once again captured headlines with the launch of a bracelet that turned heads.
The newly launched bracelet resembles regular clear transparent tape, featuring the Balenciaga logo and adhesive printed on it. This unique accessory was launched during Paris Fashion Week’s Fall/Winter 2024 collection. The price of this Balenciaga latest addition is $4,000 (approximately Rs 3,34,949) and has garnered attention for its unconventional design and hefty price tag.
Numerous users voiced criticism toward the brand, questioning its practice of transforming everyday household items into high-priced fashion accessories. One social media user commented, ”It feels like this entire brand is simply a large-scale joke.” Another wrote- “I swear the fashion companies just set out to see who the idiots are. A bracelet that looks like tape. Balenciaga is wylin. Tf? This is worth $4000? Geez”!
Before this, Balenciaga offered a leather pouch resembling a full garbage bag for $1,790 and a handbag inspired by Kim Kardashian, wrapped in bright yellow and black tape for $3,100.
