Shannon Beador is finally talking about the hit-and-run she did while drunk last month.

Now that the drama has died down, the Real Housewives of Orange County star went on Instagram to finally talk about her arrest a month ago, which made news.

Beador walked her pet Goldie, Archie, who was also in the car at the time of the accident. She used the time to record a much-anticipated update for the cameras.

“I know it’s been a while since I posted and there’s been a lot of talk about everything that’s happened recently,” she started.

She told her fans, “Unfortunately, right now, I’m not in the position to comment but there will be a time when I can and I intend to be open, honest, and authentic.”

According to TMZ, Beador hasn’t said anything about what happened while she’s still recovering. She hit a Newport Beach home while drunk, then drove away, parked her car in the middle of the street, and pretended to walk her dog.

Page Six says that since then, she has been seen with what look like injuries—a cast on her arm and a bruise on her eye.

The mother of three also signed up for an outpatient behavioral health program with a drinking component last week.

Beador is getting better, though, and she hopes to get back to her normal life soon.

She told the camera, “Right now, I’m focusing on getting healthy, getting back to myself, and walking Archie.”
