Knaus Berry Farm Owner Nearly Killed by Son- Police

According to CBS Miami, the proprietor of Knaus Berry Farm, a South Florida business well known for its cinnamon buns, was allegedly beaten to death with a flashlight by her adult son. After being flown to a hospital from her house, 66-year-old Rachel Knaus Grafe was in critical condition; her husband had also been beaten, but his wounds were less serious. The suspect, 40-year-old Travis Grafe, “fled in a golf cart to a neighbor’s home, where he informed the neighbor, “I just killed my mother,” according to a law enforcement source who talked to the station.” Two decades ago, he supposedly sustained a brain injury in an accident, and in 2013, he was declared mentally incompetent for the purpose of prosecuting him.
