Innovation in Education Grants Support STEAM Programs

Time is running out to apply for a $10,000 or $5,000 grant from the Classroom of the Future Foundation to support local science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics programs.

All public K-12 school districts, schools, and charters in San Diego County are eligible to apply for the grants as part of the annual Innovation in Education Awards. The deadline for applications has been extended to March 10 by 11:59 p.m. Educators, parents, or business leaders are encouraged to apply online.

Submissions will be reviewed by a panel of judges and a total of $25,000 will be awarded May 18 at the 20th Annual CFF Innovation in Education Awards. Winners will also receive a trophy and be included in a video profile and podcast.

Classroom of the Future Foundation is a nonprofit organization and extension of the San Diego County Office of Education that unites business, community, and educational leaders to create innovative learning environments in San Diego County public schools.
