Taylor Swift and Joe Alwyn broke up after being together for six years, and some of Swift’s fans say that she predicted the breakup in the music video for one of her hit songs.

Swift’s fans, who are known as “Swifties,” started looking for clues about her breakup in her old songs to find “Easter eggs” about it.

Many of them think that the Grammy-winning singer, who is 33, gave a big hint in the music video for “Lavender Haze.”

One fan who paid close attention noticed that in the 48th second of the song, Swift blows a match, which could be seen as a hint that something is “blowing up.”

Swift is known for leaving “clues” for her fans in her music announcements and songs. These are called “Easter eggs.”

Swift released Lavender Haze in October 2022. She said, “I happened on the phrase ‘lavender haze’ when I was watching Mad Men, and I looked it up because I thought it sounded cool, and it turns out that it’s a common phrase used in the ’50s where they would just describe being in love. If you were in the lavender haze, that meant you were in that all-encompassing love glow. I thought that was really beautiful.”

Fans used to think that the song was about her then-boyfriend Alwyn.
