Featuring seasonal collections, emerging designers, sustainable fashion, vintage pieces, and menswear, Fashion Week MN is ready to inspire your next closet refresh. This year, Fashion Week MN steps into the role of executive producer for all spring 2024 events in partnership with several creative event producers. Fashion Week MN began its influence on the Minnesota fashion scene in 2015 as it emerged to celebrate, connect, and inspire the local fashion community. Spring FWMN 2024 aims to shine a light on local fashion designers, retailers, makers, artists, and creators through a week-long series of fashion shows and events.
Fast Fashion Protest, Citizen-T
Kicking off Fashion Week MN 2024, Citizen-T and Fashion Week MN present a fast fashion protest media preview event. The event plans to shine a light on Fashion Week’s commitment to the local fashion community and sustainable fashion. The event will include food by David Fhima, photo-ops, and an opportunity to purchase fashion from Stephanie Dillion’s dead-stock and sustainable brand, Citizen-T. I AM FABULOUS, Keiona Cook
Presented by Lovely’s Sewing and Arts Collective founder, Keiona Cooke, the I AM FABULOUS fashion show celebrates beauty and style at every age by featuring models aged 60 and above. This Paris-themed afternoon will include several vendor tables for attendees to shop at before and after the runway show. Tickets start at $40. Into the Studio Sustainable Style: A Fashion Revolution
Experience a vibrant runway show featuring the latest collections from local Minnesota designers. By using natural, organic, and recycled materials to feature an ethical and fair-trade production process, each of these collections pull aspects from the slow fashion movement. Before and after the show shop pieces right off the runway and bring home some eco-friendly fashion. Tickets begin at $30. Golden Era: Revival, Golden Magazine
Fashion Week MN and University of Minnesota’s Golden Magazine invite you to their showcase of curated collections and vintage fashion. Golden Era: Revival is a celebration of fashion’s most treasured moments and the timeless beauty of vintage designs. The show also includes a vintage market before and after the runway show. MAN DOWN: The Green Edition, Gayle Smaller Jr.
Brought to you by Gayle Smaller Jr, founder of Melanted Brand Co., MAN DOWN is using fashion as a medium to bring awareness to men’s mental health. MAN DOWN is partnering with local nonprofit and community organizations to raise funds in support of men’s mental health. The fashion show will feature an array of designer menswear collections worn by both male and masc presenting models. There will also be a pop-up shop and resource fair before the runway show begins. La Rotonde
Drawing inspiration from a historic art cafe in Paris, La Rotonde is an immersive runway experience celebrating the collaboration of young and emerging artists in Minnesota. Fashion Week MN comes to an end with their seventh season of EVOLVE. The fashion show is set to feature local up and coming and established designers’ spring collections.
