Automotive Testing Expo returns to Europe in June!

Now in its 26th year, the European edition of the world’s largest automotive testing technology exhibition returns to Stuttgart this June.

Automotive Testing Expo is firmly established as the essential expo for test and validation technologies, from prototype to production – for better durability, reliability, quality and safety, and for next-gen powertrains and AV systems development! This June, everything you need to develop better cars and eliminate recalls will be showcased under one roof at Messe Stuttgart in Germany.

Join us on June 4, 5 and 6 at the world’s largest exhibition for automotive testing, evaluation and quality engineering, and see more than 400 specialist suppliers displaying and demonstrating the very latest technologies in electric and hybrid powertrain testing, battery and range testing, ADAS/AV testing, materials testing, engine testing, stress and durability testing, validation, simulation, NVH, lifecycle testing, crash testing, emissions testing, data capture, software and AI, HIL, tire testing and more …

The goal of every car company is to make better cars for each market (local or global) at all price points. This is becoming increasingly challenging, especially as cars are equipped with ever more complex computing systems and advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS), as various organizations seek to overcome the difficulties of autonomous driving and the industry races to develop electric vehicles.

Demands on test and development processes are constantly increasing, and the expo is the perfect opportunity for European auto makers to learn how to keep up!

What to expect in 2024:

  1. The world’s biggest automotive test and development expo is returning to Europe this June at Messe Stuttgart. The show also has other editions in Shanghai, Detroit, South Korea and India.
  2. 400+ exhibitors to see in one venue – meet new and existing specialist suppliers working across automotive testing, validation and development.
  3. 50+ speakers on the two Technology Presentation Stages, where leading suppliers and OEMs will discuss topics at the heart of today’s automotive testing industry.
  4. 150+ ADAS/AV exhibitors across Automotive Testing Expo and the adjoining ADAS & Autonomous Vehicle Technology Expo, which has its own conference (120+ speakers; conference rates apply) featuring the latest in AD and AV tech.
  5. New Automotive Testing Technology International Awards Forum, featuring panel discussions, fireside chats and an awards ceremony recognizing the industry’s achievements over the past 12 months.
  6. Three days of live demonstrations of new products and industry developments, and presentations on topics including the influence of AI, data fusion and higher-definition data.
  7. Experience automotive engineering and design history at the nearby Porsche Museum and Mercedes-Benz Museum in Stuttgart.

Exhibition preview

At the testing industry’s premier technology showcase, the free-to-attend exhibition will feature more than 400 exhibitors displaying their very latest products and services.

Visitors can expect to see the most up-to-date technologies in ADAS and autonomous vehicle testing, NVH measurement tools, test rigs, simulation packages, durability testing technologies, crash testing, dynamometers, emission measurement systems and dynamic assessment tools, as well as countless service providers such as proving grounds and test facilities.

Magna Powertrain Engineering Center Steyr will showcase a double actuator mobile test rig for e-drives at the expo. The wide application spectrum provides fast and adaptive testing options on, for example, e-drive housings and LV and HV connectors with static and dynamic loads.

SincoTec will present its new, patent-pending hydrogen test cell in Stuttgart. The test cell enables tests in hydrogen atmospheres of up to 1,000 bar without any moving seals, and has advantages in terms of friction and wear, control accuracy and possible test frequency.

Göpel Electronic will provide a multifunctional demonstration at the expo that will combine LVDS test equipment, haptic testing, acoustic analysis, robotics and industrial image processing. The Video Dragon with intuitive Dragon Suite software will be exhibited as a modular solution demonstrating the ability to test camera and display applications. Also on display will be Series 62 multibus communication controllers, primarily used for residual bus simulations, and testing and programming control units.

Rototest will be at the expo to talk about and show its expanding range of powertrain dynamometer technology with models specifically designed for advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) and university applications.

Further highlights will include Werum Software & Systems’ data analytics and AI for improved product quality; Tectos’s technologies for sustainable mobility; ZF Test Systems’ automation software; UTAC’s cybersecurity for V2G; and OxTS’s new tech for ADAS and vehicle dynamics testing.

ATTI Awards Forum 2024

For the first time ever, the ATTI Awards are to be formally presented at Automotive Testing Expo Europe.

The Automotive Testing Technology International Awards are a non-profit-making enterprise designed to recognize and reward the fantastic achievements of the world’s top vehicle engineering suppliers and specialists.

Join us in celebrating those companies and individuals that have gone above and beyond for their community at ATTI’s inaugural awards ceremony, which will take place in Hall 8 on Day 1 of the three-day event. Launched in 2006, the traditionally magazine-based Automotive Testing Technology International Awards have grown each year. To mark a step change in vehicle development – with the rollout of automated driving and electrification dominating headlines globally – ATTI felt it is the perfect time to refresh the format as well as introduce two new categories.

ATTI Awards 2024Alongside the awards, a brand-new forum will offer an afternoon of technical content as well as the opportunity to network with your fellow automotive peers.
