Gautier has entered a partnership with a Nashville booking agency to bring top-tier entertainers to the city to perform at the Sound Amphitheater.
The agreement with 46 Entertainment, signed today, will guarantee a minimum of 10 ‘A-Level’ artists to perform at the amphitheater once it opens in early next year.
According to a press release from the city, A-level artists are “the most exceptional and renowned of the entertainment industry, representing some of the most highly acclaimed and sought-after performers in the nation.’
“We are excited about the upcoming completion of the Sound Amphitheater and working closely with 46 Entertainment,” said Mayor Casey Vaughan, City of Gautier. “This collaboration reflects our city’s commitment to enhancing the quality of life for our residents, creating vibrant cultural experiences, and economic opportunity.”
The agreement, with a minimum of 10 artists per year, is expected to generate an economic impact of about $13 million annually. The city is guaranteed to received a minimum of $1.2 million over the life of the two-year contract from venue rental, facility fees and sponsorships.
The city said additional financial benefits include revenue generated from sales tax collections on tickets, concessions, and merchandise.
