StyleCraft Home Collection announces a partnership with artist and product designer Norman Wyatt Jr. for a new lifestyle collection set to premiere at the High Point Market from April 13-17, 2024.
Rodney Leath of StyleCraft stated, “Norman’s lifestyle collection is the perfect aesthetic blend with a sense of refined artistry that is all his own. Our team is thrilled and can’t wait for the entire Design Community to experience Norman’s collection at one of the biggest shows of the year.”
Wyatt has established a reputation for creating trend-setting wall decor, with over two decades of influence in the home decor industry. Drawing inspiration from his Virginia roots, Wyatt’s artistry encompasses a variety of styles from coastal scenes to modern abstracts.
Discussing the collaboration, Wyatt said, “I loved everything that StyleCraft was doing. So, I searched for the contact of the CEO of StyleCraft, and reached out to him directly. From our very first meeting he loved all of my artwork… and asked me what I wanted to do with his company? My answer was, “Everything!” This opportunity with StyleCraft was a perfect match!”
StyleCraft boasts a broad product range in the furniture industry, offering over 4,000 SKUs that span multiple home accent categories. Wyatt’s engagement began in late 2019, leading to extensive development work alongside StyleCraft’s team.
Wyatt further commented, “It was such an amazing fit…everything just seemed to be a perfect match, like it was meant to be. So, from Fall 2021 to now…I’ve been diligently working…designing, sketching, conceptualizing, developing ideas, selecting materials and colors, all in preparation for the Norman Wyatt Home lifestyle launch to be realized!”
The Norman Wyatt Home Lifestyle Collection by StyleCraft will feature over 150 SKUs including artwork, lighting, furniture, and accessories. The launch will introduce three design styles: Coastal, Glam, and Rustic/Earthy, with plans to expand the collection throughout 2024-2025.
“For my initial launch with StyleCraft I tried to focus on creating clean, fresh, modern products with a touch of artistic flair. One of my close designer friends refers to my look as “Refined Artistry” and I think that designers, buyers, and StyleCraft’s customers are going to love what I have created,” Wyatt shares.
An exclusive launch event is scheduled for Sunday, April 14, at StyleCraft’s showroom located at 130 S Main St, High Point, NC, including a press preview and a Meet & Greet with Wyatt. Attendees will also have the chance to win a piece of Wyatt’s original artwork.
Wyatt reflects on his journey, “I’m so blessed and excited to have partnered with an amazing company like Stylecraft….to have the opportunity to finally bring to life all of the creative ideas, visuals, and designs I can imagine, beyond just artwork.”
In addition to his artistic pursuits, Wyatt is an ordained Elder in Ministry, finding inspiration in his faith, his family’s creative legacy, and his natural environment.
About Norman Wyatt Jr.
Artist and Designer Norman Wyatt Jr. has created trend-forward wall decor and designs for the home decor industry for over twenty years. A native of Virginia, Norman draws much of his inspiration from the hues, textures, and nuances of his natural surroundings. Whether a misty coastal scene, an eclectic, modern abstract, or a rustic, earthy landscape, Wyatt is able to create a uniquely vast range of painting styles and subjects. Norman graduated from Virginia State University in 1997, with a degree in fine arts. He later became a K-4 Elementary Art teacher, inspiring his students by adorning the classrooms and hallways with bright, colorful artwork and characters. Wyatt taught for six years, and eventually left to pursue a full time career in art publishing.
In 2017, Norman established his personal home decor brand, Norman Wyatt Home. After two decades of primarily creating wall art, Wyatt has now partnered with Stylecraft to develop a complete Norman Wyatt Home decor lifestyle collection, including wall decor, lamps, furniture, mirrors, pillows, and accessories, all designed by the Artist.
Norman currently resides in Virginia with Maketah, his wife of twenty-five years, and their three creative children, Elisha, a graphic artist and aspiring fashion designer, Joshua, an animator and music producer, and Lydia, a ballerina and watercolorist.
