
BRANCHBURG, NJ — Firefighters battled a fully engulfed car fire in a Branchburg parking lot on Sunday.
On April 14 at around 3 p.m., Branchburg Police was called to the parking lot of 4 Millennium Way for the report of a motor vehicle fire.
Police found a parked grey 2005 Honda Accord that was backed into a parking space fully engulfed in flames, said Branchburg Police Captain Edward Edgar.

Country Hills Volunteer Fire Company and Readington Volunteer Fire Company were able to extinguish the fire. The vehicle was towed from the scene after the fire was extinguished.
The registered owner was identified as an employee of a nearby business. The vehicle was unoccupied, and there are no reported injuries.

Branchburg Township’s Fire Official was notified of the motor vehicle fire, and the underlying cause of the fire remains under investigation at this time.
