Nicole Kidman Discusses the Next Liane Book Adaption on Television

Nicole Kidman recently talked about her next TV project, which comes after the hits Big Little Lies and Nine Perfect Strangers.

According to Daily Mail, the Stoker actress said at the SXSW Festival in Sydney on Thursday that she and director Per Saari are going to make a TV show based on Liane Moriarty’s book The Last Anniversary.

The story is about a woman who gets an old house on a strange piece of land. It will be shot in Australia.

“Australian accents, an Australian project with Australian accents for the world. This has been a long time in the making,” Nicole said.

The star of “Days of Thunder” said she was excited to be working on another show based on Liane’s writing.

Nicole was so happy for the author that she said, “SShe is the same age, she has got kids, she has gone through similar things at different times. She has become a great friend.”

The news source said that Nicole and Per had worked together before on their first project, Rabbit Hole, in 2010 and then on Big Little Lies.

The two are also going to work together on the highly anticipated Lulu Wang series Expats, which will come out next year.

Nicole also paid tribute to the late Brian Walsh, a big name in show business who died earlier this year at the event.
