Car catches fire on Loop 20, Laredo Fire officials say

LAREDO, Tx. (KGNS) – A driver is unharmed after her car caught fire while driving on Loop 20.

According to the Laredo Fire Department, the fire happened at around 3:20 p.m. on Loop 20 near Clark Boulevard.

The fire department said that the vehicle caught fire and a female driver was able to get out of the vehicle without injuries.

The fire was immediately extinguished without incident.

Drivers in the are are being advised to proceed with caution and expect potential delays.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
