BANGOR, Maine (WABI) – A couple from Milford was pulled from a burning car on the interstate Monday morning.

According to State Police, the fire took place on I-95 Southbound near Veazie shortly after 10am.

The couple pulled over and were helped out by passersbys before the car was fully engulfed

Nobody was injured.

The interstate was shut down for about 30 minutes while the fire was put out.
