Didn’t get tickets to Paris Fashion Week? Join the FROW at Walsall Healthcare’s charity Fashion Show instead – it’s right around the corner with some special guests!
As Well Wishers is one of the chosen charities for the Mayor of Walsall’s year in office, there will be two celebrities joining and supporting this event – the Mayor (Councillor Chris Towe) and Mayoress of Walsall (Louisa Hughes).
And funds raised from the event will be going to Maternity Services this year.
It will take place on Thursday 26 October, 7pm at Collingwood Community Centre, Collingwood Drive, Pheasey, Great Barr, B43 7NF (just six miles from the Manor Hospital).
Fashion show company ‘Colours Fun(draising) Fashion shows’ has promised clothes suitable for all in its pop-up shop with outfits from River Island, Top Shop, M&S and lots more in sizes up to 30.
There will also be a raffle with some fabulous prizes to be won, refreshments and a number of other stalls with gifts to purchase.
The Mayoress of Walsall said: “We are so excited about this event. I personally love fashion so I can’t wait to see the latest styles at a discounted price.
“And we think it’s great that Well Wishers’ fundraising initiatives like this help to raise so much to enhance patients’ experience. We look forward to the local community joining us for what promises to be a lovely event.”
Georgie Westley, Fundraising Manager at Walsall Healthcare NHS Trust, added: “We can’t wait to see everyone at the fashion show and what an honour it is having the Mayor and Mayoress of Walsall join us.
“We deliver a variety of events throughout the year and our fashion show is always a hit. This event allows us to raise money for things over and above what the NHS is able to provide while giving our patients and families the best experience possible. Do come and support us! Bring your family, friends and colleagues – all are welcome.”
Tickets are £8 each or three for £20 and include a welcome drink/nibbles.
