A lot of Taylor Swift fans crowded into a restaurant to see their favorite pair in real life.

Swift’s new relationship with NFL star Travis Kelce is making waves around the world. Traylor shippers gathered at a famous Connecticut restaurant when word spread that the new couple and Taylor’s best friend Blake Lively might be eating there on Thursday, according to Page Six.

People who were there said that a lot of Swift fans rushed to New Canaan’s Elm restaurant after a fan account falsely said that the couple was having lunch there.

Because of this, the restaurant had to “lock the backdoor” because so many people were waiting outside to “catch a glimpse” of Hollywood’s newest pair.

The chaos never stopped because some fans also tried to break into the restaurant, and all service orders had to be made outside.

In fact, things got so bad that three police officers and the fire department had to show up to try to calm down the crowd. In the end, the restaurant had to close for lunch.

But in the end, it didn’t matter because Taylor, Travis, or Blake were never seen entering or leaving the place.

The claimed sighting was false, as the Kansas City Chiefs tight end was seen at practice in Kansas City on Thursday.

US Weekly said that the restaurant used dummies that looked like real people to get more attention.
