Men’s Tennis Heads To Bloomsburg Fall Invite On Saturday


BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Lehigh men’s tennis is set to compete in one more invitational this fall on Saturday when the Mountain Hawks head to the Bloomsburg Fall Invite. Sean Jaeger, Wyeth Anzilotti, Luke Donovan and Benedict Horn-Bourque will travel to Bloomsburg after the rest of the team competed at the ITA Regionals in Philadelphia on October 6-9.

Lehigh will be joined by Slippery Rock, St. Bonaventure, Saint Francis, Juniata, rival Lafayette and the hosting Huskies of Bloomsburg University at the invite. The Mountain Hawks are will compete in both singles and doubles competition.

Although the Bloomsburg Fall Invite will be played on both Saturday and Sunday, the Mountain Hawks will only be in attendance for the first day of competition. Saturday will consist of one round of doubles and two rounds of singles while two doubles and one singles will take place on Sunday.

Lehigh’s doubles pairings will be Sean Jaeger/Wyeth Anzilotti and Luke Donovan/Benedict Horn-Bourque. All four players will compete in singles competition as well.

Last time out, the Mountain Hawks traveled to Penn for ITA Regionals. The trip overall was a success, as Lehigh had two singles players reach the round of 32 and a doubles pairing that advanced to the quarterfinals.
