The glass glowing skin of the Korean beauties intrigued the interests of the girls around the globe to try the Korean hacks and thus we can spot various hacks surfacing the internet. We spoke to Dr Dinyar Workingboxwalla, co-founder of Beauty by BiE for his insights on these viral hacks. Read on to learn more about the viral Korean hacks and how you can implement them.

Dr Dinyar said, “While I’m always intrigued by innovative skincare trends, I approach viral hacks with a healthy dose of scepticism, especially those claiming dramatic results. One recent Korean beauty hack gaining traction – the “jamsu” technique involving submerging your face in ice water after applying makeup – is a prime example.

Turmeric is known for its incredible properties for skin while honey is known for its moisturising properties. Take one tablespoon of turmeric, honey and milk in a bowl. Mix the ingredients well and apply on the face for 15 minutes. Wash it off with lukewarm water and tap dry.

Take one tablespoon of unflavoured gelatin powder and mix it with two tablespoons of milk. Heat the mixture and apply it to your face. Wash it after 15 minutes.

Oatmeal is known for its scrubbing properties. Mix one tablespoon of oatmeal with one tablespoon of milk and honey. Apply the mixture to your face and wash it off.

Take one tablespoon of yoghurt, oatmeal and honey (honey skincare benefits) in a bowl and mix them well. Apply on your face and wash it off after 15 minutes.
