Stephanie McClendon, school nutrition manager at JC Booth Middle School, is the 2023 winner of the coveted Cheryl Calhoun Manager of the Year award.

McClendon has been with the school district since 2015 and a manager at JC Booth since August 2021. In her brief period as a manager, she was named Rookie of the Year in 2022, earned double 100s on both health inspection scores in 2023, and a perfect administrative review for 2023 during the school nutrition audit with the Georgia Department of Education.
