Irene, a K-pop group Red Velvet member, has hinted at her debut as a solo artist. On April 13, she had a party for her 32nd birthday, which about 1000 of her fans came to.

Fans were very excited for Irene to start her solo career and follow in the footsteps of Wendy, Seulgi, and Joy. Even though the idol usually doesn’t say much about what’s happening with Red Velvet, she decided to share a little with her fans at the event.

When a fan yelled how excited they were for Irene’s solo debut, she joked, “Are you waiting for it to be her solo debut?”

Fans think her solo debut might happen because this is the first time she has teased it instead of saying, “If there’s a chance, I’d want to do it.”
