Simon Cowell Invests in Large Alcohol Brand After Retiring

Simon Cowell is putting a lot of money into a big US liquor brand.

The 63-year-old music mogul has changed course after giving up fame, selling his £45 million home in Holland Park, and shrinking his record label, Syco.

He is now a co-owner of Harry Blu, which was started by Harry Blustein and is based in Miami.

On Friday, Simon shared the news on Twitter, saying, “Harry Blu is an incredibly dedicated small team with great taste and passion that has built their business.”

“I am excited to be a part of the next phase of their growth [sic].”

Simon is still a judge on ITV’s Britain’s Got Talent, but he has no other TV responsibilities and wants to spend more time with his nine-year-old son Eric, whom he ‘totally dotes on.’

He is also said to have thought about life after he fell off an e-bike at his home in California in 2020. He said he was lucky to be alive after the accident. He broke his back, and the surgery took six hours.

One source told a news site, “It’s like Simon has totally changed his direction of travel. He was once so keen to be in the papers that he could barely go for a walk without it being on the front of the tabloids. Now he has slunk off into obscurity – he won’t even tell anyone where he lives.”
