Daniel Masterson has agreed to give his ex-wife Bijou Phillips legal and physical care of their nine-year-old daughter Fianna.

Masterson is already in jail for 30 years after being found guilty of raping two women. This decision comes at the same time.

Legal papers that TMZ got their hands on revealed the specifics of this deal. Masterson, who is 47 years old and was sentenced last month, has said that he wants to be able to see Fianna, their only child together, more often.

If allowed, these meetings will take place while being closely watched by prison staff.

Notably, Masterson’s court papers say that they split up on September 15, which was only one week after he was sentenced to 30 years to life in prison for assaulting two women in 2003.

It is important to note that Phillips, who was by his side during the trial, started the divorce process on September 18, which was a big change in their relationship.

Masterson has been in court twice, which are known as hearings.

His first trial, which happened six months before, finished in a mistrial because a different jury couldn’t agree on all three rape charges.

He was free on a $3.3 million bail while these court cases were going on.

But that time of freedom ended when he was found guilty on May 31, which is why he is now in jail.
