Free Halloween events make for scary good time this month

Looking for a Halloween activity that won’t break the bank? There are dozens of free family activities over the next week or so leading up to Halloween, thanks to the efforts of civic groups, churches, government bodies and private businesses.

Is your event missing from this list? An updated list will be published again in Thursday’s Out & About section of the Times Herald. That report will include community trick-or-treating hours.

Any organizations offering free public activities may contact [email protected] to have their event added to the list. Nonprofit activities with an admission fee or other charge will be listed in the paper separately.
