Union, N.J. (10/21/23) – The Kean University women’s tennis team improved to 2-0 with an 8-1 win over Brooklyn College on Saturday.

Graduate transfer Grace Del Pino collected wins at first singles (6-4, 6-0) and first doubles (8-5) paired with Maria Torres.  Torres picked up a win at second singles (6-4, 6-4).

Sa’Maya Middleton and Ashley Mendoza Tarazona combined for an 8-3 win at second doubles with Tarazona winning third singles in straight sets.

Delali Doe and Gigi Gutierrez earned a win at third doubles (8-1) and Doe earned a point for Kean with a 6-1, 6-1 win at fifth singles.

Molly Gomez rounded out the scoring with a win at sixth singles.
