J-Hope from the K-pop band BTS showed off his new haircut for his required military training. The singer and rapper posted a picture of his new look and a note about it on Instagram.

In a short comment, he told his friends, “I will return healthy and well!!” He also posted several pictures of himself saluting the camera on Weverse with the simple message, “I love you ARMY.”

To say goodbye to J-Hope, his bandmate Jimin took a selfie and a picture of the whole group with him. Even Jin stopped what he was doing to tell the younger member to leave.

J-Hope joined the military on April 18th, as had been said in reports based on information from the military. But his management, BigHit Entertainment, said that they were not allowed to say when and where he joined the military.
