AUSTIN, Texas — One person has died after reportedly being struck by a vehicle near the Interstate 35 frontage road in North Austin Sunday morning.

Austin-Travis County EMS responded to reports of an auto-pedestrian collision at the intersection of East Braker Lane and North IH 35 Service Road southbound at 5:04 a.m.

The pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene.

The incident caused traffic delays temporarily.

It’s unclear if the driver of the vehicle remained on scene and if they face any charges.
