Actress Sofia Vergara went on a date on Friday night (October 20) with orthopedic surgeon Justin Saliman. The ‘Modern Family’ star, 51, and her new boyfriend were photographed going to dinner in Beverly Hills, California, near where Kim Kardashian was celebrating her 43rd birthday party.

Vergara was photographed by paparazzi wearing a black lace corset, plum-colored pants and black heels. As for Saliman, he was wearing a navy blue button-down shirt and blue jeans.

He is her first boyfriend since Manganiello

According to Page Six, Saliman studied at Stanford University and has a medical degree from the University of Colorado School of Medicine.

His online profile describes him as “an orthopedic surgeon trained in sports medicine and arthroscopy, who specializes in treating shoulder, hip and knee injuries to preserve joints.”

He even reportedly invented a “revolutionary machine for meniscus restoration aids” and owns a new medical company.

Saliman is no stranger to the Hollywood scene, having previously been married to actress Bree Turner, known for TV shows such as “Grimm” and the romantic comedy classic “The Ugly Truth.” According to information from People magazine, the former couple separated in 2018.

Saliman is the first man we know of with whom Vergara has been romantically linked following her divorce from Manganiello.

Why did Vergara and Manganiello divorce?

Vergara, meanwhile, just divorced Magic Mike actor Joe Manganiello in July this year after seven years of marriage.

“We have made the difficult decision to divorce. As two people who love and care deeply for each other, we politely ask for respect for our privacy at this time as we navigate this new phase of our lives,” Manganiello and Vergara posted in a joint social media message following their separation.
