Euphoria’s Hunter Schafer purchased a gorgeous LA home for $3.9 million – it’s a modernist masterpiece

Hunter Schafer, actress and model, best known for her role in Euphoria, has a new home in the affluent Brentwood neighborhood in Los Angeles. The beautiful home was designed in 1950 by the master architect A. Quincy Jones, known for his innovative, modernist style. Hunter’s new house certainly lives up to the architect’s reputation.

It’s a treasure trove of home decor ideas. The 2,100 square foot house cost her £3.9 million, about $200,000 over the asking price, as reported by Robb Report Real Estate. It includes three bedrooms and four bathrooms. Perfect for a successful celebrity like Huter Schafer, the property is situated on a semi-private road down a long and curving driveway.

True to its era, the property is full of mid-century modern details. Photos from Robb Report Real Estate show that almost every room includes beautiful Douglas Fir built-ins that reflect the light streaming through the home’s large windows, including the expansive glass walls that open to patios from several rooms. Other highlights include vintage-style appliances in the kitchen.

The living room decor in Hunter Schafer’s new home is especially beautiful. A mid-century-style exposed block fireplace takes center stage, offering the perfect place to sit and relax. Photos from Robb Report Real Estate show that the living room is part of a large, open-concept space including a dining room and den space. Cool gray floors reflect light from the glass walls and modern pendant lights.

When the property was refurbished in 2022, the restorers updated the home with a brand-new carport that matched A. Quincy Jones’s original design. Long steel beams cover the carport while a ridged metal roof covers the cars in storage there. The concrete block walls mirror motifs from the fireplace seen inside. The arching roof layers into the roof of the home, creating a chic and flowing shape.

The modernist masterpiece may be off the market, but that can’t stop us from looking to A. Quincy Jones’s design for inspiration.
