Wildlife rehabilitators

The following is a list of authorized Utah wildlife rehabilitators. These individuals and organizations are licensed by the Utah Division of Wildlife Resources to take in and rehabilitate injured animals. The goal of rehabilitation is to release these animals back into the wild once they recover.

Wildlife rehabilitators must meet demanding standards in order to obtain and keep their Certificates of Registration* that enable to them to care for these animals. If you want to learn more about these requirements, please read through the DWR’s administrative rule R657-40.

If you find an injured wild animal, you may contact one of the appropriate wildlife rehabilitators listed below.

The DWR does not necessarily endorse any of these rehabilitators, but we do oversee their operations for compliance with the requirements of their Certificates of Registration. As independent operators, rehabilitators may accept or decline to accept injured or sick animals at their discretion.

*Certificates of Registration (CORs) are special licenses issued by the DWR that enable the licensee to engage in specified wildlife-related activities.
