Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes Plan to Wed to Put Away Their ‘Negative Image

Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes, who both worked at GMA3 as co-hosts, apparently want to take their relationship to the next level by getting engaged.

A source told Us Weekly that the couple is in a “good place” and that they want to make their relationship public as their latest step to get rid of the bad press about them.

“They’re in a good place. They’re moving on from all the negative around the affair and looking toward the future together,” a person said.

The source also said that the two TV stars “are very happy and laying low” now that they are known to the public.

“Now the plan is they do want to move in together and get engaged.”

When news of their shocking relationship came out in November 2022, they first got a lot of attention.

Page Six says that they started dating when training for the New York City Half Marathon in March 2022.

At the time, both Robach and Shue were married. Robach was married to Melrose Place actor Andrew Shue, whom she married in 2010.

She had two girls with her first husband, Tim McIntosh, and she raised them with Shue.

On the other hand, Holmes was married to Marilee Fiebig, an attorney.

They had a child together, Sabine.

After their spouses found out about their affair, Holmes and Robach both left their partners.

Because of their affair, both of their presenting jobs were in danger, and ABC told them earlier in 2023 that they were no longer working with them.

“After several productive conversations with Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes about different options, we all agreed it’s best for everyone that they move on from ABC News,” the company said in January.
