Frank Ocean will no longer be playing during the second weekend of Coachella. The singer was supposed to be the main act on Sunday (April 23), but Variety says that Blink-182, who played as their original trio during the first weekend of the event, will take her place.

In a statement to Billboard, Ocean’s representatives said, “FAfter suffering an injury to his leg on festival grounds in the week leading up to weekend 1, Frank Ocean was unable to perform the intended show but was still intent on performing, and in 72 hours, the show was reworked out of necessity. On doctor’s advice, Frank is not able to perform weekend 2 due to two fractures and a sprain in his left leg.”

The musician, who is hard to find, also said in the statement, “It was chaotic. There is some beauty in chaos. It isn’t what I intended to show but I did enjoy being out there and I’ll see you soon.”

As was already known, Ocean’s ankle injury forced last-minute changes to the set for Sunday night’s (April 16) show, including the use of a custom-built ice rink for the set.

When the 35-year-old star went onstage almost an hour later than planned, he played 20 songs, including completely remade versions of some of his hit songs like “Pink + White,” “Solo,” “Channel,” “Wiseman,” and more. Ocean ended his long-awaited set with a version of Aaliyah’s 1994 song “At Your Best (You Are Love)” from his 2016 visual album Endless.
