Austin Majors’ name became well-known after he played the young son on the popular TV show NYPD Blue for seven seasons.
The news has come out that Austin died of an accidental fentanyl overdose after he stopped acting.
The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner’s Office has confirmed that fentanyl poisoning killed Austin Setmajor, who later took his birth name as his last name.
In a report that came out on Tuesday, it was said that his death was an accident.
The industry was shocked when the news came out on February 11 that Austin Majors had died in a homeless shelter in Los Angeles.
At the time, there was a chance that fentanyl poisoning was to blame. The medical examiner’s results now back up this theory.
In the last week of his life before his sad death, Austin was in a picture that would later have a bittersweet meaning.
The picture was taken when Karen Bass, the mayor of Los Angeles, and Jeff Olivet, the head of the U.S.
Interagency Council on Homelessness to the Hilda Solis Care First Village, where Majors was staying.
After Austin Majors died, his sister, Kali Majors-Raglin, told a story about him.
“Austin took great joy and pride in his acting career,” the statement said, and it made sense. “From the time he was little, he never knew a stranger and his goal in life was to make people happy.”
