Reports say that Matty Healy is getting back together with his ex-girlfriend Meredith Mickelson by taking her on a romantic trip.

Reports said that the lead singer of The 1975 was seen on vacation with Mickelson, which proved that he had broken up with Taylor Swift.

For those who don’t know, Healy and Mickelson were dating until Healy’s affair with Swift became public after Swift broke up with Joe Alwyn in April.

At the time, a person told the Mirror, “She did not see this coming at all. All the time Matty was in the studio with Taylor, she thought nothing of it. He’d spend the day in the studio and then come home to her.”

“Things were going well until around March 29 then, out of the blue, he stopped replying to messages and calls,” they said. “He just ghosted her, and that was it. Then, four weeks later, he went public with Taylor.”

The insider said that Meredith was “blindsided” and “stung” by the situation, but she doesn’t want to play the victim and has “no intention of saying anything publicly.”

Given Healy’s long past of making controversial comments, the Lover singer’s relationship with Healy caused a lot of anger.

In June, it was said that the couple was no longer seeing each other, but no one said why.
