Orlando Bloom and Katy Perry’s $15m House Divorce Battle

Katy Perry and star Orlando Bloom are in a complicated fight with an 83-year-old veteran over who should own a luxurious $15 million home in Santa Barbara.

The court dispute started with a real estate deal that happened in July 2020, according to information obtained by Daily Mail.

Carl Westcott signed a real estate deal at that time to sell Katy Perry his prized property.

Westcott said that his choice was affected by the pills and painkillers he was taking because he had major back surgery and was in a lot of pain.

Westcott, who also has Huntington’s Disease, rethought the contract he had signed while under the influence of drugs because of what happened afterward. He immediately broke the deal.

But Perry and Bloom’s agents didn’t seem to care that Westcott had changed his mind.

In answer to his plea, they told him in no uncertain terms that they would sue him if he didn’t keep his end of the deal.

After three years of fighting in court, a trial is set for later this month to settle the disagreement.

Carl Westcott was 80 years old when he sold the house, and he had been living with Huntington’s disease since 2015.

According to a report the Daily Mail got from him, he had not actively tried to sell his 9,285-square-foot home and had not talked to a real estate agent about putting the property on the market.
