Michigan will play its fourth night game of the season on Saturday, Nov. 4, as was announced by the program on Monday morning. The Wolverines will host the Purdue Boilermakers under the lights in what will be a rematch of last year’s Big Ten Championship game.
The game will air on NBC, which marks the third time in the last four Michigan games that NBC has aired the Wolverines at night in the primetime slot. The announcement confirms that four of Michigan’s first nine games this season are in the 7:30 primetime window.
Michigan is on a bye this weekend, so it will enter the contest with a perfect 8-0 record, and barring a Georgia loss to Florida on Saturday, the Wolverines will still be ranked No. 2 in the country, a spot they’ve occupied all season.
Purdue on the other hand, is struggling through a tough season under first-year head coach Ryan Walters. The Boilermakers are 2-5 overall and 1-3 in Big Ten play. They will visit Nebraska this weekend before preparing for Michigan the following week.
Kickoff times are now known for every Michigan game for the remainder of the regular season with the exception of Maryland:
vs. Purdue, 7:30, NBC
at Penn State, Noon, FOX
at Maryland, TBD
vs. Ohio State, Noon, FOX
