Virginia football will be back on The CW Network in two weeks. The Atlantic Coast Conference announced the start time for Virginia’s Nov. 4 home football game against Georgia Tech will be at 2 p.m.
The game will be televised on The CW Network.
Virginia will face Miami this weekend after securing its first ACC win of the season after beating No. 10 North Carolina last weekend.
“I think every game is important,” said UVa head coach Tony Elliott about finally winning a close game in win over North Carolina. “We talked about our goal was to make it to the postseason. And what I what I told them before the game, I said, ‘Man, we’re fighting and we’re fighting for our livelihood.’ If we want to accomplish one of our main goals, then every game matters, right? And so doesn’t matter if you’re playing against a top-10 team or not, home or away. You got to go out and you got to earn it. And I also told them, I said, ‘You know what, there’s not, I don’t believe there’s another program, based off of what we’ve been through over the last year, that deserves to win more than we do.’ However, it’s not about what you deserve. It’s about what you go out and you earn and what you’re willing to take. And I think these guys got more confirmation on that tonight. It’s not about what we deserve. It’s about what we’re going to go out there and earn snap after snap, and then when the opportunity is there, we got to take it.”
