Cal Poly’s Performing Arts Center Plaza is getting an upgrade.

The Trust Automation Plaza Enhancement project will add a special destination space that will enhance the existing plaza.

In April 2022, Cal Poly alumni Ty and Trudie Safreno gave $1 million to the plaza project, naming it the Trust Automation Plaza.

The improvements include additional seating, landscaping, trees, concrete and pavers, lights and cinematic lighting.
