Car pulled out after being driven into Ohio River


GOOD EVENING AND THANKS FOR JOINING US HERE ON KOCE-TV AT 7:00. I’M MIKE CLARK. A CAR PULLED THIS AFTERNOON FROM THE OHIO RIVER. SKY FOUR OVERHEAD AS CREWS WORK TO PULL THAT CAR OUT AFTER SOMEONE DROVE IT RIGHT IN THE WATER NEAR THE MISTER ROGERS STATUE ON NORTH SHORE DRIVE. EMS TELLING PITTSBURGH’S ACTION NEWS FOUR THE DRIVER DID MAKE IT OUT OF THE CAR BEFORE THEY ARRIVED.

Car pulled out after being driven into Ohio River

A car was pulled from the Ohio River along the city’s North Shore Monday afternoon. Sky 4 was overhead as crews worked to pull that car out after someone drove it in near the Mr. Rogers statue on North Shore Drive.Medics tell Pittsburgh’s Action News 4 that the driver did make it out of the car before they arrived and called 911. According to Pittsburgh Public Safety, she was unhurt, and no other passengers were found in the car.An investigation is now underway.
