Kate Middleton’s Sudden Fashion Change Is Reportedly Based on Easing This Royal Family Member’s ‘Jealousy’

As many loyal royal fans have seen, Kate Middleton has entered her suit and slacks era. She’s suddenly waved goodbye to her colorful, monochromatic dresses, and fans are left wondering, “What happened?” It’s not like this change occurred at a momentous time, it just suddenly happened.

Per the Spanish gossip site Marca, sources claim Kate “changed her image to now wear very simple suits and blouses” to appease her husband Prince William’s alleged “jealousy” over her growing popularity.

Allegedly, Kate is “not used to” these types of clothes, usually opting for more dressy types of ensembles.

Now, it’s not the first time William’s alleged jealousy has been discussed, along with his father King Charles III, both of whom have been allegedly upset over Kate’s popularity (and how her fashion would normally make headlines over their appearances)! But this is the first time that something has changed with Kate’s fashion sense.

Some have speculated that it could be a change in stylists, but she’s stayed with her longtime stylist and friend Natasha Archer.

While some sources claim William’s jealousy played a major role in her fashion change, others claimed to DailyMail that her newfound confidence has allowed her to “spread her wings” in trying new clothes.
