Colorful Summer Fashions From Kohl’s – A Bold Print
Everyone knows I love wearing colorful fashions, but you might not know a trick I sometimes use. I’ve been known to wear bright colors head-to-toe, but most of the time, I tone down my look. If I’m going to wear something bright and colorful, I decide what will be the star of my outfit.
You probably guessed the star of today’s look is this blue plant print Off-The-Shoulder Top. I want your eye to be drawn to the star of the outfit and not bounce all around. I kept the rest of the outfit neutral to keep your eye from bouncing around. The beautiful bright blue print top is flowy and comfortable and looks fantastic when worn with white. The top is cropped and has an elastic waist, but doesn’t show any skin.
Colorful Summer Fashions From Kohl’s – Jumpsuit
This outfit creates more of a punch with the Fuchsia Wide-Leg Jumpsuit. Once again, I kept all the other items neutral to avoid distracting from the gorgeous jumpsuit. I think this outfit would be perfect for a class reunion, a graduation celebration, or anywhere you want to make a statement.
This Fuchsia Wide-Leg Jumpsuit will have compliments pouring in!!! I fell in love with it the minute I took it out of the bag. It is flowy and feels so luxurious. I’m not sure why the description on the website says no pockets; as you can see in the photo, it has pockets. The jumpsuit is also available in black, which would look stylish for a cocktail party!
It features adjustable straps, a matching sash tie belt, and a square neckline. The material is flowy and doesn’t cling, which is an added bonus.
I’m always cold, so I like to add a cardigan or blazer to items with no sleeves. The white Linen Roll-Tab Blazer is unlined, so it is the perfect weight for wearing in the summer. The blazer is limited in sizes for white, but has other colors that are available. Here are a few other white blazers.
Colorful Summer Fashions From Kohl’s – Texture
With this outfit, I’m creating a column of color. Normally, I create the column with a matching top and bottom or a dress or jumpsuit, but doing it with shorts and a blazer works, too. It frames the beautiful aqua sweater, ensuring it is the outfit’s focal point.
Texture is a great way to create visual interest. The Pointelle Sweater Tank looks beautiful because the color draws your attention, and the eye can appreciate the textured design. I didn’t get a photo, but this tank has about a 1-2-inch strap. The sweater is available in sunny yellow and creamy white/ivory. I’m wearing a medium, and it fits me perfectly.
I really like these Modern Pull-On Shorts. The 7″ inseam is the perfect length for me, and I love the button tab detail on the pockets. I wasn’t sure about sizing, so I ordered a medium and a large. The medium fit me perfectly and was easy to slip on. These are available in black and two different denim washes.
