SAN DIEGO (FOX 5/KUSI) — More luxury brands are coming to the Fashion Valley shopping mall, which will be the first location in the San Diego area for all three brands.
On Monday, Simon Property Group, which owns Fashion Valley, announced French powerhouse Celine will open sometime this year, followed by Christian Louboutin and Fendi in 2025.
There are also plans to integrate luxury living with the addition of 850 multi-family residences by AMLI Residential, Simon said. The new development would include about 100,000 square feet of new retail space along with open green spaces and more parking adjacent to the mall.
The open-air shopping destination recently underwent a multimillion-dollar revitalization that included the addition of other luxury brands including Bottega Veneta, David Yurman, Dolce & Gabbana and more.
Meanwhile, Rolex Boutique Fourtané has doubled in size with multiple private consultation rooms and a two-story exterior facade, according to Simon. Omega has plans to reopen later this year.
The redevelopment project is expected to begin immediately following the closure of JCPenney in 2025 with its completion slated for late 2026.
