9 Gemini Celebrities That Were Born to Be Stars

Cardinal Geminis, generally born on May 21 through June 21, are known as the social butterflies of the zodiac. Charming extroverts who can start a conversation with just about anyone, Geminis are able to flitter from one conversation – and role – to the next, making these chatterboxes innate performers who thrive on being in the spotlight. Unsurprisingly, there are plenty of Gemini celebs who’ve chosen to take advantage of these natural gifts and chosen careers in film, TV, music, and modeling.

Quick learners who are insatiably curious, Geminis are also highly adaptable, able to move in and out of different characters with ease. This gives them a leg up when fully immersing themselves in their next project, whether it’s a new album or an upcoming TV show. While the sign of the Twins can get a bad rep for being two-faced or flakey, this duality and changeability is also what can give them major star power. On the flip side, some Geminis may seem noncommittal or like they struggle to make up their minds at times.

Ruled by Mercury, the planet of communication, this mutable air sign thrives on social interaction and connection. Chances are you’ll find this sign hitting up red carpets, posing on a runway, or even just publicly hyping up their SO, a la Tom Holland to Zendaya.

Meanwhile, other Gemini celebrities like Naomi Campbell and Nicole Kidman are multi-hyphenates who harness their flexibility, curiosity, and stage presence to seamlessly transition from project to project.

In honor of the chameleons of the zodiac, here are some of the most famous Gemini celebrities.

Like many of her Gemini peers, Jolie is a queen at multitasking. Born on June 4, the Academy Award-winning actress has also directed movies like Unbroken and First They Killed My Father, and recently produced The Outsiders on Broadway with her daughter, Vivienne. Outside of the entertainment realm, Jolie is a humanitarian and U.N. Goodwill Ambassador, advocating for refugee rights, and previously owned her own vineyard with ex-husband Brad Pitt.

In February 2024, the Girl, Interrupted star opened her newest venture, Atelier Jolie, in the Lower East Side. The historic space – which was once owned by Andy Warhol – will house high-end art, clothing from Jolie and other sustainable fashion brands, and a cafe that’ll serve food from Sri Lanka, Syria, Venezuela, and Senegal made by refugees from those regions. Since Geminis are known for being creative trendsetters, especially in the fashion and beauty realm, this seems right up her alley.

Holland, who was born June 1, exemplifies the easygoing, extroverted, and charming qualities of a Gemini. The Spider-Man actor also isn’t afraid to poke fun at himself, whether he’s making light of his and Zendaya’s height difference or being called out by Jake Gyllenhaal and Benedict Cumberbatch for accidentally sharing MCU spoilers (hey, Geminis aren’t the best at keeping secrets). Plus, in typical Gemini fashion, Holland is the ultimate Golden Retriever Boyfriend and loves to hype up his girlfriend Zendaya on social media and in interviews.

Chamberlain, who was born on May 22, is another Gemini who’s bubbly and talkative (just check her viral YouTube channel) and seamlessly adapts to any situation, whether she’s taking her followers on a video tour of a new city or interviewing stars on the Met Gala red carpet. Like others in the mutable sign, the content creator has taken her multi-hyphenate status to the next level. In addition to using her trend-setting prowess as a fashion and beauty “It” girl and successful content creator, she owns her own brand, Chamberlain Coffee.

Born June 9, Natalie Portman personifies the Twins’ curiosity, intelligence, and range, on and off the screen. Over the years, the Harvard graduate has played a variety of increasingly diverse characters in movies like Black Swan, Thor, Jackie, and of course, the Star Wars franchise. Portman is also an expert at showing off Gemini’s always-trendy fashion sense – the red carpet veteran spices up every classic outfit with sartorial details that are edgy and fresh.

Campbell, who was born on May 22, is a legend in any industry. Known as one of the five original supermodels, the British beauty was a trailblazer and the first Black woman to cover Vogue France and Time Magazine. In addition to showing off Gemini’s creative fashion sense, Campbell’s modeling career – which includes gracing the covers of over 500 magazines – speaks to her flexibility and duality as a Gemini. Campbell’s charisma is also undeniable, whether she is acting in a movie, teaching models how to be more versatile on America’s Next Top Model, or smizing on the runway.

Whether she’s serving head-turning looks on the red carpet or styling daring, body-baring pieces on Instagram, Ratajkowski’s effortless ability to start trends is 100% Gemini. The model slash actress also dabbles in fashion design with her own brand Inanomarti and has written a book, My Body. Ratajkowski also hosted her Hi Low podcast where she discussed sex positivity and feminism with different guests until it was quietly shuttered in September 2023.

Keith Urban fittingly wrote his song “Gemini” in honor of his wife Nicole Kidman, who was born on June 20. The Big Little Lies actress is known for the versatility and range of her characters, which span roles in movies like The Beguiled, Lion, Practical Magic, and The Northman. Her Gemini creativity is evident in her production work on shows like The Undoing, Rabbit Hole, and Lioness. Outside of acting, Kidman is also a philanthropist – she’s been a goodwill ambassador for UNICEF since 1994 and UNIFEM since 2006.

Laverne Cox

As a trailblazing Emmy-nominated actress, podcast host, musician, documentary film producer, and equal rights advocate for transgender people, it’s hard to know what Cox – born on May 29 – can’t do. The Orange is the New Black star is a glass ceiling-shattering presence in the entertainment industry, becoming the first openly transgender person to appear on the cover of Time Magazine, British Vogue, Cosmopolitan, and many other publications. Known for the versatility of her roles, which include characters in Inventing Anna and Disclosure, the award winning actress recently released new music: a combination of classic opera set to trap beats. Talk about Gemini creativity.

Like any Gemini, Klum – born on June 1 – is a successful jack of many trades. Since 2013, the model and businesswoman has been showing off her communication skills, her bubbly personality, and her creativity as a judge on America’s Got Talent. The actress is also a renowned social butterfly, putting on a yearly Halloween party where she literally shows off a different side of herself by dressing up in increasingly elaborate costumes.
