Bills Boosters gather Thursday
The Southern Tier Bills Booster Club will watch the Buffalo Bills vs. Tanpa Bay Buccaneers game on Thursday night at the Moniuszko Club in Dunkirk. Game time is 8:15 p.m.
Craft, vendor show planned in Fredonia
The Fredonia United Methodist Church is holding a craft and vendor show on Nov. 4 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Crafters include Buffalo Bills hand crafted shirts and tumblers. wreaths, glass and slate articles, costume jewelry, recycled beaded bracelets, knitted and crocheted apparel and accessories, ornaments, pillowcases, greeting cards, Halloween paper mache ghosts and snowmen for the upcoming holiday season.
Ronnie Lafferty (best known for her Sunflower Blossoms that was featured at Buffalo Garden Tour 2018) will be displaying some of her paintings, prints and note cards. If interested. there are a few vendor spaces available, please call 716-679-1513 for more information.
Trick or treating times set in village
Halloween trick or treating in the village of Fredonia will be from 4 to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 31.
Voter registration deadline nearing
Chautauqua County’s Board of Election Commissioners are reminding residents of the upcoming voter registration deadline for the 2023 General Election.
Commissioners Luz E. Torres and Brian C. Abram issued the reminder , noting that the last day to register for the Nov. 7 General Election is Saturday.
Voters can register using a paper Voter Registration Form, via the NYS DMV Online MotorVoter Portal or using the newly launches NYS Online Voter Registration application.
Paper forms can be obtained by visiting local municipalities, libraries or post offices or the Board of Elections can also mail a paper Voter Registration form to an individual, though they would be cautious of this option due to the form must to be at the Board of Elections by Saturday.
Voters can also register in person at the Chautauqua County Board of Elections, 7 N. Erie St in Mayville during regular weekday business hours, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Wine Bingo set for Saturday
SILVER CREEK — The Silver Creek VFW 6472 Auxiliary will sponsor a Wine Bingo Night on Saturday. Doors will open at 5 p.m. and bingo will start at 6. It will be held at the post located at 13 N. Main St. The event is for adults only, and admission will be $10 which includes one bingo. Extras will be available. Refreshments will be served. Proceeds go for the auxiliary’s veteran support causes.
