As traffic along Henderson last night slo-moed toward The Old Monk and other East Dallas venues, the ever fashionable set pulled into the valet line just in front of Caitlin Wilson Dallas, or self-parked and hopped across the street. The gathering was for the 2024 Dallas Symphony Orchestra League‘s Fashion Notes announcements.
Surrounded by the store’s furnishings and way-too adorable accessories, someone point out a glamorama gown on a mannequin, saying, “You know that’s an Esé Azenabor-Grembowski creation!” And it wasn’t by accident.
Just then Esé was seen being one of those hopping across Henderson.
It would be learned that Fashion Notes Co-Chairs Whitney Cameron and Madelaine Lam had all their plans in place, and Esé was one of the announcements. She will be the featured designer honored at the DSOL fundraiser at the Meyerson on Thursday, October 10.
The annual fundraiser features a seated luncheon and fashion show with DSOL members and their families, past and present DSOL debs and members of the Dallas Symphony Orchestra Family modeling the fall fashions.
In addition to 2024 DSOL Presentation Ball Chair Kristin Cordiak, 2023-2024 DSOL President Nancy Labadie and 2025 Presentation Ball Chair Ginger Sager, 2024-2025 DSOL President Dixey Arterburn pointed out that the 2024 Fashion Notes honorary co-chairs would be Dr. Linda Burk and her daughters Linda Gilmore and Dr. Jane Gilmore, who wasn’t able to make the reveal because she was in Florida.
Along with Fashion Notes, the DSOL fundraising efforts will include the Presentation Ball, the Junior Symphony Ball and Savor the Symphony to provide funding for the DSO’s education and outreach programs.
Unfortunately, the 2024-2025 Fashion Notes website is still a work in development. After all, Dixey and her team have just come on board this last week. But don’t give up if you want to come aboard for the fashions, fun and fundraising.
