FRESNO, Calif. (FOX26) — A Fresno K9 officer helped sniff out a stolen car suspect after a short chase Tuesday morning.
According to the Fresno County Sheriff’s Office, deputies tried to pull over a stolen car around 3:00 a.m. near Cedar and Ashlan Avenues.
The driver did not stop, and a short chase began.

The driver came to a stop near Dakota Avenue and Ninth Street and ran from the scene.
He was later sniffed out by a Fresno Police Department K9 and found hiding in some bushes in an apartment complex nearby.
