HILLSVILLE, Va. (WDBJ) – No injuries were reported in a Thursday car fire in Hillsville, according to the Hillsville Fire Department.

Firefighters say crews was dispatched to reports of a car on fire at the 20.6 mile marker of I-77 Southbound.

According to firefighters, the car was fully engulfed in flames and was quickly extinguished.

Firefighters thank Carroll County Fire and Rescue and the Virginia State Police for their assistance.
