WAYNE CO., Mich. (WNEM) – Michigan State Police (MSP) is investigating the death of a Flint woman who was found dead in a car on an exit ramp in Wayne County.

The Detroit Regional Communication Center was notified by Van Buren Police they located a Honda Civic on the westbound I-94 exit ramp to Haggerty Road on Friday, May 24, at 2:35 a.m.

According to MSP, the driver was found dead inside the car.

Upon arrival at the scene, troopers identified the driver as a 59-year-old Flint woman, MSP said, adding her family has been notified of her death.

MSP said the investigation is pending medical examiner reports and an autopsy.
