Two in hospital after car hits motorcycle in Seymour


SEYMOUR, Conn. (WTNH) — Seymour police responded to a crash that landed two individuals in the hospital on Friday afternoon after a motorcyclist collided with a car on Derby Avenue.

According to police, a car was traveling northbound and attempted to turn left onto Emery Street before cutting off a motorcycle traveling the opposite way.

The male motorcyclist, deemed alert and conscious, was transported to Saint Mary’s Hospital for treatment. The driver of the car was transported to Griffin Hospital with minor injuries.

Police deemed that speed was not a factor in the crash.
