SEATTLE — A pedestrian was hit and killed by a vehicle in downtown Seattle Friday night. 

According to the Seattle Fire Department, the collision happened at Olive Way and Boren Avenue around 9:45 p.m. The man was pronounced dead at the scene.

As of 11 p.m., the Seattle Police Department was investigating the scene and urged drivers to avoid the area.
