Monaco GP 2024: From Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce to Roger Federer, All the Celebrities Lured to F1’s Glamorous Crown Jewel Event


Ah, the Monaco Grand Prix! What a time to be around, as the defending champions, Red Bull, are finally facing some competition. McLaren is up to speed with Red Bull and Max Verstappen will need to sleep with one eye open. As the competition is getting interesting again, many celebrities are getting into the sport. Now it has become a common occurrence to see many A-list celebrities make their way to the circuits and the Monaco Grand Prix is definitely not one to miss.

After the recent F1 boom led by Netflix’s Drive to Survive, many people are getting into the sport that was once alien to them and this includes celebrities. Last year, we had a star-studded cast show up at Monaco to enjoy the race and see Max Verstappen win the race. This year, things might be different, with McLaren being mighty fast. Last year, we saw names like Tom Holland, Justin Bieber, and Kim Kardashian at the paddocks, so who will we come across this year?

Over at the Mercedes Garage, Lewis Hamilton had a special visitor to cheer him on for the Monaco GP and it was none other than football legend Cristiano Ronaldo. The golden shoe soccer player has been frequently attending the Monaco Grand Prix and he was also spotted at the event in 2019.

In the list of guests that Mercedes had at their paddocks included, filmmaker George Lucas as Toto Wolff gave him a special run down on how things in Formula 1 work. It’s hard to mention a celebrity event and not mention a Kardashian or a Jenner and to fill in that void, we had Kris Jenner along with Corey Gamble at the paddocks.

Roger Federer is in Paris for a brand event, recently, the tennis player has also had a deal with Mercedes. He was not there for the Miami or Imola GP weekends, considering that he is expected to drop by Monaco to continue his conversation with Toto Wolff.

But the celebrities don’t just end there. Aside from the few attending celebrities, it’s unfair to not consider the artists that will be performing at the event. Fatman Scoop and Jax Jones are the two DJs that will be powering the crowd with the “diamond table package” for 10 people in an exclusive party.

During the Miami Grand Prix, we saw Travis Kelce attend the race but something did not feel right as we missed out on Taylor Swift’s presence at the event. The sensational popstar is currently touring the world as a part of the Eras tour which has kept her busy during the Miami weekend, but luckily has time during the Monaco Grand Prix.

It’s said that Taylor Swift would be meeting her Super Bowl-winner boyfriend in Portugal where she will be performing for 2 days before heading on Sunday for the race. This is amazing news for Swifties as there are fans of the pop star even on the grid.

Max Verstappen also recently spoke about Taylor Swift’s Eras tour, explaining that fans should not consider the negative impacts of the pop star touring, especially in the sense that logistics is involved in bringing up concerns about the whole plan not being eco-friendly enough.

Verstappen mentioned how the workings of F1 are quite similar and wasteful, making the mission of reaching 0-net carbon release more of an ideal situation than an attainable one.

Although we have just mentioned a handful of names that will be at Monaco, the race weekend will see an influx of A-list celebrities heading to the circuit. Even last year, we got to see a star-studded lineup with artists to actors, everyone was down at Monaco for the Grand Prix weekend.

Last year, were was no shortage of celebrities in the audience for the F1 race. Catherine Zeta-Jones and Michael Douglas were spotted enjoying the race from a balcony in Monaco, the classic way to enjoy the weekend. Tom Holland was also at the Monaco Grand Prix with his younger brother, Paddy Holland and it was Spiderman himself that waved the chequered flag.

Kylie Minogue was also attending the Grand Prix, as the Australian singer showed interest in motorsports’s pinnacle. From one sportsman to another, Neymay Jr was at Monaco, kicking it back with the Red Bull team.

When it came to actors, do you think Spiderman was the only one? David Harbour from Stranger Things watched the event from a balcony. Orlando Bloom is a man who needs to introduction and when he was spotted at the Monaco Grand Prix, the spirits of fans were heightened. However, at the Mercedes Garage, Toto Wolff must have had a difficult time holding his laughter as he was visited by a guest named Chris Rock.
